When the Rourke Bridge in Lowell was built in 1985, it was intended to be a “temporary” solution.
For over 3 decades, state and local officials have tried to tackle the issue yet safety concerns and daily gridlock remain a constant frustration to people of the Merrimack Valley.
“My whole campaign is about building bridges, and make no mistake, when I am elected to Congress, I will make sure the Rourke Bridge project is completed – no excuses,” said Rick Green.
“As a member of the majority, Rick will have a unique opportunity to give Massachusetts a voice in Washington. He will have the ability to work with his colleagues at home and in DC to deliver real results. You won’t get that from anyone else in this race” said campaign manager Dante Vitagliano.
